Medihoney barrier cream protects and prevents intact skin at risk of breaking down.

Indications include:

• skin breakdown from incontinence pad use

• helps prevent skin damage from frequent washing of hands

• use around wound edges to protect skin from irritation

The antibacterial Leptospermum (Manuka) Honey ™ that is found in Medihoney has been proven to be effective against a range of microorganisms. 

The antibacterial honey used is medical grade and standardised for use in the Medihoney range, with predominantly Leptospermum selected for its broad range of antibacterial actions.

Apply to clean, dry skin three times a day or as required. Reapply after bathing or at each dressing change. Suitable for use on children.

Precautions

When using for the first time, patch test on a small area of skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
