Ingredients in Altruist SPF 50 Sunscreen:

Glycerin

How do I use Altruist SPF 50 Sunscreen?

Always read the information provided on the box and/or leaflet.

Apply generously to all exposed areas of skin 20 minutes before sun exposure and reapply frequently. Avoid contact with eyes. Cover up with protective clothing and a hat where possible, and avoid prolonged exposure to midday sun. Excessive sun exposure can be harmful. Babies and young children should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The sunscreen should be used within 12 months of opening.

How Long Does Sunscreen Last?

The NHS recommends reapplying sunscreen at least every 2 hours, as the sun can dry it off your skin. This should be done sooner if swimming, towelling or exercising.

Sunscreen generally lasts 6 to 12 months after opening, but this can vary. Check the information on the packaging and leaflet, including the expiry date.

If you have any severe side effects, stop use immediately and seek medical assistance as soon as possible.

Reporting of side effects

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in the above description and patient information leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard or search for “MHRA yellowcard” in the Google Play or Apple App Store.
