What is the Psoriasis and Ichthyosis QV Skincare Bundle?

This recommended bundle of products, put together based on guidance from QV Skincare, for is ideal for sufferers of Psoriasis or Ichthyosis. It contains:

• QV Moisturising Cream 500g
• QV Gentle Wash 500g
• QV Skin Lotion 500g
• QV Ointment 450g
• and QV Bath Oil 500ml

What is Psoriasis?

Characterised by sharply defined, red patches of skin that become covered with dry, silvery scales. 

Typically affects the knees, elbows, scalp and back, but can affect any part of the body. 

Psoriasis is a common, chronic condition that affects people of all ages and around 2% of the UK population. 

Psoriasis is not contagious but is thought to be triggered by genes or certain environmental factors. 

What is Ichthyosis?

Continual and widespread scaling of the skin. usually affecting the whole body. 

Ichthyosis can either be inherited due to a single genetic trait or can develop very early in foetal life. 

It may also develop later in life due to a number of medical problems, such as kidney disease.

QV Bath Oil

Light Emollient

Provides a​​​ light hydration with a soft, gentle formula. A soothing bath treatment to prevent moisture loss. Can be used in the bath or shower with no oily residue.

QV Gentle Wash

Medium Emollient

A soap free alternative cleanser for dry, scaly skin and relief of symptoms of atopic and infantile eczema and psoriasis. 

Use daily. Apply the desired amount of QV Gentle Wash to wet skin and lightly massage. 

Rinse gently and pat skin dry.

QV Skin Lotion

Light Emollient - for everyday use

After cleansing, apply to damp skin to hydrate and coat the surface to restore the skin's barrier function.

QV Moisturising Cream

Medium Emollient - for days for very dry skin

After cleansing, apply to damp skin to hydrate and coat the surface to restore the skin's barrier function. An everyday psoriasis cream. 

QV Ointment

Heavy Emollient - for dry skin that's not inflamed

Use intensive emollients at night time because you won't have the opportunity to reapply as often and these are effective for longer.

• Always apply with clean hands
• Apply downwards in the direction of hair growth
• Use as frequently as needed, can be applied every 4 hours
• Use intensive emollients at night time as they are effective for longer

How much to apply

Pump containers 1 pump = 1g

Face, neck and ears - 2 pumps

Arms - 2 pumps each arm

Torso - 4-6 pumps

Hands - 1/2 pump each hand

Legs - 8-9 pumps each leg
