Blistex Relief Cream contains the active ingredients of ammonia and liquefied phenol.
PHENOL - Has antiseptic qualities, helping disinfect the area around your cold sore and helping to keep healthy skin safe.
AMMONIA - Will help to reduce redness in cold sores and dry chapped lips.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
You are allergic to any of the ingredients this product contains or if you have had an allergic reaction to Blistex before.
You experience any pain, discomfort, or irritation while using this product.
You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
You have used/taken any other medication.
Active ingredients w/w: Aromatic Ammonia Solution 6.04%, Strong Ammonia Solution 0.10%, Liquefied Phenol 0.494%,
Other ingredients: White Soft Paraffin, Modified Lanolin, Sorbitan Palmitate, Polysorbate 40, Peppermint Oil, Sodium Saccharin, Ethanol 96%, Racemic Camphor, Cineole, Purified Water
Apply every hour. Your lips are more sensitive during extreme weather conditions, so you may need a little more care than normal.
Apply as soon as the first symptoms arise, and gently apply every hour to rapidly relieve any discomfort.
Irritation or swelling of the lips, or an allergic reaction such as skin rash, redness or itching.
This cream also contains Lanolin which may cause local skin reactions. (e.g, contact dermatitis).
