What are Taptiqom UD Eye Drops?
 

Taptiqom contains the active ingredients Tafluprost and Timolol. These eye drops are used to decrease fluid pressure in the eyes of patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension. 

How do the active ingredients Tafluprost and Timolol work?
 

Tafluprost works by increasing the drainage of fluid from inside your eye. As a result pressure is lowered within your eye.

Timolol works by blocking beta receptors in the eye which reduces the amount of aqueous humour that is produced.

Emergency supplys of Taptiqom:

Taptiqom is a prescription only medicine and an Emergency Supply can only be issued if you are currently being prescribed this medication by your GP.  You will need to fill out a questionnaire, which is then reviewed to make sure Taptiqom is a suitable treatment for you. You will also need to upload proof that you have used this item before. If your order is approved, your Taptiqom can be sent directly to you.

Warnings and Precautions

Always take this medication exactly as directed by your GP.

Keep out of sight and Reach of children.

If you are taking or using any new medications even over the counter medicines whilst using Taptiqom you should make your GP aware to prevent interactions.

How do I use Taptiqom UD Eye Drops?

Tapiqom must be used exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are unsure contact your GP.
 

Recommended starting dose is usually:

ONE drop in the affected eye or eyes once daily
 

What are the side effects of Taptiqom UD Eye Drops?

• Redness of the eye.

• Changes in the length, thickness and number of eyelashes.

• Gritty  sensation in the eye.

• Discolouration of eyelashes.

If you have any severe side effects seek medical assitance as soon as possible.
