Levocetirizine dihydrochloride tablets are a prescription strength anti-allergy (antihistamine) that are particularly useful against the effects of rhinitis (hay fever). Xyzal is the branded version of the medicine and both that and generic Levocetirizine are available from SimplyMeds Online.

 

Levocetirizine blocks histamine receptors preventing the release of the chemicals used to fight allergy. These chemicals cause the itch, swelling and redness in the affected areas but most of the time are an over-response to what is required.
