Changes to the NHS App - 3rd February 2025

Feb 04, 2025 NHS Medications

SimplyMeds Online would like to inform you about important updates to the NHS app on mobile devices.

From 3rd February 2025, the NHS App will require the following minimum software versions:

  • Apple: iOS 15 or later

  • Android: Version 8 or later

If your device runs an older version, you may no longer be able to access the NHS App. Some users will need to use their NHS Account via a web browser instead. Follow these step-by-step videos to help you set up.

Next steps

  • iOS users on iOS 13 or 14: Update to iOS 15 or later.

  • Devices running iOS 12, Android 6, or Android 7: These will no longer be supported. You’ll need to either update your device (if possible) or use the NHS Account via a web browser.
