What are Ashton & Parsons Teething Powders?

Ashton and Parsons teething powders are a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the relief of teething pain and symptoms associated with teething.

These sachets are suitable for babies from 3 months of age and help to ease symptoms such as flushed cheeks and dribbling as well as the pain that babies feel as they’re teething.

Ashton and Parsons Teething Powders are safe to use with Calpol to provide maximum relief from the pain associated with teething.  You should only use Calpol if necessary and do not give Calpol to a baby under 2 months of age.

What are the ingredients in Ashton and Parsons Teething Powder? 

• Tincture of matricaria
• Lactose

Signs your child is teething and may need you to use Ashton and Parsons Powders?

1. Sore or red gum
2. One cheek is a flushed red colour
3. Rubbing his / her ears
4. Dribbling more than usual
5. Chewing on things a lot more

Warnings and Precautions

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Read the package leaflet before use.
• Not suitable for children under 3 months of age.

Do not use if:

• Your child is allergic to any of the ingredients this product contains or if they have had an allergic reaction to this before.
• You suspect or have been told your child has an oral infection.

Ingredients

Each sachet contains powder impregnated with 0.002ml of the active ingredient tincture of Matricaria (Matricaria recutita L.) flower.

Also contains lactose. Extraction solvent: Ethanol 70% v/v

How do use Ashton and Parsons Teething Powders?

Directions:

For children 3-6 months:

Whilst the infant is held in a sitting or upright position. Put the powder slowly on the front of the infant's tongue, a little at a time, allowing the powder to fully dissolve. Use up to half a sachet and save the other half.

For children over 6 months:

Use one sachet in the morning and another in the evening. Put the powder slowly on the front of the infant's tongue, a little at a time, allowing the powder to fully dissolve.

What are the side effects of Ashton and Parsons Teething Powders?

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
 

Possible side effects:

The allergic reaction may include rash and tongue sores.
