What are corns and calluses? What causes them?
 

Corns are discs of hard skin that most commonly form on your feet. They can also appear on other parts of the body. 

Calluses are larger patches of rough, thick skin.

Corns and calluses form on your body when the skin comes under regular pressure or friction, an example of this is when your toes rub against the sides of your shoes regularly and can be painful or uncomfortable.

How do I use the Ever Ready Corn & Callus Trimmer?

Directions:

1. Before use, soak feet in warm water to soften tough skin.
2. Dry the feet thoroughly.
3. Gently draw the knife across the corn or callous in a shaving motion to remove thin layers of dead skin.

The space between the blade and the blade protector is graduated. Light paring is best done with the area close to the handle, for heavy paring use the area close to the blade's point. 

Instructions for fitting a new blade:

• Hold the Corn and Callus Trimmer with the blade holder curving away from you. 
• Keeping thumb and fingers away from the blade's edge and with the blade's edge facing right, carefully insert the point of the blade into the tip of the trimmer. 
• Then flex the blade and push the lower end to the left of the retaining hook. 
• Only use with Ever Ready Corn and Callus Trimmer Replacement Blades.

Do not use it excessively, only for the removal of dead skin.
