A little more about Nurofen Migraine Pain 342mg Caplets - 12 Caplets
Nurofen Migraine Pain 342mg Caplets - 12 Caplets: Things you need to know

What are Nurofen Migraine Pain 342Mg Caplets?

Nurofen Migraine caplets contain Ibuprofen which belongs to a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS).

Ibuprofen works by reducing inflammation at the site of pain. It provides relief by changing the body’s response to pain, swelling and high temperature.

What is the active ingredient in Nurofen Migraine Caplets and what does it do?

Nurofen Migraine Caplets contain the active ingredient Ibuprofen Lysine (the lysine salt of Ibuprofen) which is a fast-acting version of traditional Ibuprofen to tackle pain fast which is caused by headaches and migraines. This form of Ibuprofen, breaks down quickly in the body, making it much easier for the body to absorb it into the bloodstream and reaching the source of pain quicker.

Types of Migraine:

Migraine with aura- This is when there are specific warning signs just before the migraine begins, such as seeing flashing lights

Migraine without aura-  Is the most common type of migraine. This is when the migraine happens without the specific warning signs

Migraine aura without headache (silent migraine)- This is when an aura or other migraine symptoms are experienced without a headache
