What is Deep Heat, Max Strength Rub?

Deep Heat Max Strength is fast-acting and helps to ease the pain as well as sore and stiff muscles. It works by providing a soothing, warming sensation to your painful muscles, helping to ease your pain while loosening muscles so you can begin to move more easily. 

What are the active ingredients and what do they do?

Active ingredients: methyl salicylate and menthol

These create a heating effect that radiates through your muscles, relieving pain and stiffness. This encourages blood flow in the affected area, bringing oxygen and nutrients that can aid the healing process.

What can Deep Heat Max Strength Rub be used to treat?

• Backache

• Lumbago

• Sciatica (pain in the lower back and thigh)

• Fibrositis (muscle tenderness or stiffness)

Warnings and Precautions

• Not suitable for use on children under the age of 5.

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Do not use:

• If you are allergic to NSAID painkillers such as aspirin or ibuprofen, or any of the other listed ingredients.

• This product is on broken, inflamed, or sensitive skin.

• Taking any medicines that thin the blood

• Taking any medicines that prevent blood clots

How do I apply Deep Heat Max Strength heat rub?

Dosage:

Use the medicine only on your skin.

For adults, the elderly, and children over the age of 5: Gently massage a thin layer into the affected area. Apply TWO to THREE times daily.

What are the side effects of Deep Heat Max Strength heat rub?

Possible side effects:

• Temporary skin redness

• Burning sensation

• Rashes

• Skin burns or blisters
