What is Ibuprofen Oral Suspension?

Ibuprofen 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension 150ml is the Ibuprofen medication in liquid. Ibuprofen Oral Suspension is a suspension suitable for babies and children from 3 months. Offering comfort for children suffering from pain or fever. It can be used to help:

• Reduce a raised temperature
• Provide relief from teething
• Provide pain relief for toothache, earache or headaches
• Relieve minor aches and sprains

The active ingredient is ibuprofen 100 mg per 5 ml. The other ingredients include maltitol liquid (E965), sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217), strawberry flavour and propylene glycol.

How do I use Ibuprofen 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension?

Always read the information provided on the box and/or leaflet.

• 3-6 months: 2.5ml THREE times a day
• 6 months-1 year: 2.5ml THREE or FOUR times a day
• 1-3 years: ONE 5ml spoonful THREE times a day
• 4-6 years: ONE and a half 5ml spoonfuls (7.5ml), THREE times a day
• 7-9 years: TWO 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) THREE times a day
• 10-12 years: THREE 5ml spoonfuls (15ml) THREE times a day
