Kliofem 2mg/1mg Tablets

Kliofem is a continuous combined hormone replacement therapy (HRT), suitable for women who still have their uterus, it is used to replace the decreased amount of estrogen that is produced during the menopause. Kilofem helps to relieve the symptoms many women may feel during  the menopause such as:

• Night sweats

• Insomnia 

• Hot flushes 

• Loss of libido 

• Pain during sexual intercourse 

• Dry mucous membranes (eys, vagina, mouth)

• Osteoporosis

• Anxiety, irritability, depression 

Kliofem tablets are also used to help prevent postmenopausal bone loss (osteoporosis) and reduce the risk of fracture and protect against endometrial cancer. 

Kilofem contains two active ingredients, estradiol hemihydrate which is chemically identical to naturally produced estrogen and norethisterone, a synthetic copy of the female sex hormone progesterone.

This pill is taken once a day, always at the same time with or without food. The medication comes with a calendar that allows you to keep track of treatment.

All medicines can cause side effects. Kilofem medication can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them, here are some very common and common effects below: 

• Chest Pain 

• Vaginal bleeding

• Headache 

• Weight gain

• Depression

• Cramps 

• Feeling dizzy
