What is Germoloids Cream?

The water-based cream format has been designed to manage your symptoms by moisturising and soothing the affected area and the antiseptic properties help to protect sore, sensitive skin against infection. Germoloids Cream comes with an applicator for easy, hygienic use on the internal piles. 

Germoloids Cream also contains zinc oxide which helps to shrink the enlarged haemorrhoids and protect sore, sensitive skin against infection.

What are Haemorrhoids?

Haemorrhoids are swollen or enlarged blood vessels (otherwise known as piles). They can be painful and cause itching and bleeding.

Germoloids has a cream base that acts as an emollient to help the passing of stools and help reduce straining during a bowel movement, which can make haemorrhoids worse.

Before using Germoloids Cream talk to your doctor if you:

Continually suffer from haemorrhoids or have severe haemorrhoids.

Experience excessive bleeding

Wash hands before use and check seal is not broken before first use. 

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

Apply at least twice a day with a minimum of three to four hours between applications.

Further applications can be made at any time of the day and are particularly recommended after a bowel movement.

Do not use more than four times in any 24-hour period.

External piles: Apply to the affected area

Internal piles: Screw the applicator onto nozzle onto the tube and smear some cream on to ease application. Gently insert the applicator into the anal opening and carefully squeeze the tube to distribute the cream.

(Make sure you rinse the applicator after every use.)

Children under 12 years: Only as directed by a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Rarely, you may experience increased local irritation at the site of application after applying the cream. If you experience any of these symptoms or react badly to the cream in any other way, stop using this product and tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
