How to use Murrays Emery Boards

  • Prepare the nail by ensuring the nail is clean and dry.
  • Hold the file gently against the nail, using the fine or coarse side as needed. The course side will file your nails, and the fine surface will smooth the nail edges.
  • File in one direction, moving the board from the side to the centre of the nail to avoid damage and splitting.
  • Use short, gentle strokes to achieve your desired length.
