Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10 mg

Cetirizine Hydrochloride/Dihydrochloride is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms associated with hay fever and allergic reactions.

The tablets are used to help manage symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and allergy-related skin conditions.

Cetirizine works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance produced by the body during an allergic reaction. It is fast-acting and long-lasting, providing symptom control for up to 24 hours.

Cetirizine may also be used to help relieve raised, red, itchy skin associated with urticaria, also known as hives or nettle rash.

How to Use

Adults and children over 6 years of age: Take ONE tablet once daily.
Children under 6 years of age: Not recommended. Try an appropriate allergy syrup.

Side Effects

Possible side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, dry mouth, sore throat, cough, nausea, constipation, and headache.
