What are Januvia Tablets?
Januvia contains the active ingredient Sitagliptin. This is a treatment for type 2 diabetes used with proper diet and exercise to treat high blood sugar levels.
How does Sitagliptin work as a treatment for Type 2 Diabetes?
Sitagliptin works to help control blood sugar levels by increasing substances in the body that make the pancreas release more insulin. It also signals the liver to stop producing sugar when there is too much sugar in the blood.
What is Diabetes?
Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar (glucose).
The cause of diabetes varies by type. However, no matter what type of diabetes you have, it can lead to excess sugar in your blood and to much sugar in your blood can lead to serious health problems.
Chronic diabetes: type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes.
Potentially reversible diabetes: Prediabetes and gestational diabetes.
Gestational diabetes: occurs during pregnancy but may resolve after the baby is delivered.
Emergency supplys of Januvia:
Januvia is a prescription only medicine and an Emergency Supply can only be issued if you are currently being prescribed this medication by your GP for Diabetes. You will need to fill out a questionnaire, which is then reviewed to make sure Januvia is a suitable treatment for you. You will also be required to upload proof that you have had this medicine before. If your order is approved, your Januvia can be sent directly to you.

Keep out of sight and Reach of children.
If you are taking any new medications even over the counter medicines whilst taking Januvia you should make your GP aware to prevent interactions.
