Dulcoease Capsules
Providing relief when a bowel movement is painful or difficult. It can be used when you have constipation, piles or anal fissure. It works by helping hard, dry stool soak up natural fluids.
What are Dulcoease capsules?
Dulcoease capsules are stool softeners that are used to help prevent and treat chronic constipation. This medication contains the active ingredient of Docusate sodium which is a laxative that is very effective against constipation.
What can cause constipation?
- A lack of fibre
- Not taking in enough fluids
- Not exercising enough
- Ignoring the urge to go to the toilet
- A change in your diet
- Stress, anxiety, or depression
- A side effect of certain types of medication
In rare cases, constipation can be a symptom of a more serious condition.
Warnings and Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 12 years
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE OR HAVE HAD
- Stomach pains
- Been sick for the last 24 hours
- A blockage in the intestine
- Intolerance to some sugars, such as fructose
- Used a mineral oil laxative such as liquid paraffin

Ingredients
Active ingredient: docusate sodium. Each capsule contains 100 mg of docusate sodium.
Other ingredients: macrogol 400, propylene glycol, gelatin, glycerol, sorbitol (E420), titanium dioxide (E171), water, sunset yellow (E110), and quinoline yellow (E104)
