What is BecoDefence Hay Fever Allergy Spray?

This 20ml spray is a fast and effective allergy defence against hay fever symptoms. It contains a unique formula which, when shaken, turns the gel into a liquid that can be easily sprayed up each nostril. At rest, the mist settles onto the nasal lining to form an impenetrable barrier, blocking out allergens. 

This product contains sesame seed oil. Do not use this product if you are sensitive to sesame seed oil or any of the other ingredients in Becodefence.

Do not use if you are allergic to the following ingredients:

• Bentonite veegum, xanthan gum, glycerol monostearate, potassium phosphate, glycerin, sesame oil, water, mixed tocopherols, spearmint oil, preservatives (phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, potassium sorbate).

How do I use BecoDefence Allergy Defence Spray?

Administer 1-2 sprays into each nostril. This product can be used 2-3 times daily.

Step 1: Blow your nose before use.

Step 2: Shake the bottle vigorously in upright position at least 4 times.

Step 3: Turn the bottle upside down and shake the bottle again at least 4 times.

Step 4: Remove the cap from bottle.

Step 5: Prime the pump by pressing the white applicator down for 5-10 seconds.

Step 6: Close one nostril and tilt head slightly forward, holding the bottle upright and inserting the tip fully into nostril. Spray 1-2 times and repeat for both nostrils.

Step 7: Tilt head backwards after application, breathe out from your mouth, and continue to breathe normally from your nose.

Step 8: Wipe the nozzle clean and return cap after use.

What are the side effects of BecoDefence Allergy?

During the first hour of use, you may experience a slight blocked nose sensation. This should subside quickly and gradually disappear with subsequent use.

This product contains sesame seed oil. Do not use this product if you are sensitive to sesame seed oil or any of the other ingredients in Becodefence. 

Although allergic reactions to BecoDefence are very rare, reported side effects include:

• Blocked and runny nose
• Localised pain
• Dryness
• Itching and swelling in the nose
• Watery eyes and rashes

In case of a suspected allergy to BecoDefence, discontinue use immediately and if symptoms persist, consult your GP or pharmacist.
