Otrivine Adult Nasal Drops are a nasal decongestant formulated for adults and children over 12 years of age.

They are used to relieve nasal congestion associated with colds, hay fever, catarrh, sinusitis, and allergy-related symptoms.

The drops work by reducing swollen blood vessels in the nasal passages, helping to open and clear the nose and restore easier breathing.

They are intended for short-term use in adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% w/v.
Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, Sodium phosphate, Sodium acid phosphate, Disodium edetate, Benzalkonium chloride solution, Sorbitol, Hypromellose, Water.

How to Use

Over 12 years: TWO or THREE drops into each nostril, 2 to 3 times daily.
Under 12 years: Not to be used.

Side Effects

Possible side effects include headache, dryness or irritation of the nasal mucosa, nausea, and a local burning sensation.
If severe side effects occur, stop use and seek medical advice.
