What is Broncho 5-In-1 Multi-Symptom Action Cough Syrup?

A medical device for relief of any cough associated with a cold. Suitable and intended for all coughs and relieves dry and chesty coughs plus sore throat, hoarseness and throat dryness. 

Extracts of Icelandic Moss and Marshmallow Root contained in Broncho 5-in-1 syrups act like a soothing balm that covers the mucous membrane of the throat. A physical protective film is formed which keeps particles away from the mucosa. This helps the mucous membrane recover quickly and helps relieve irritation quickly. 

Hyaluronic acid and xanthan gum contribute to the moisturisation of the mouth and throat alongside the soothing properties of Icelandic Moss and Marshmallow Root. 

In addition, it is alcohol free, lactose-free, gluten-free, free of genetically modified organism and free of artificial colours. 

Ingredients

Marshmallow root extract, Cetraria islandica dry extract, Na-hyaluronate, Xanthan gum, Methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, Propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, Xylitol, Glycerol anhydrous, Citric acid monohydrate, Lemon-Lime aroma (contains limonene), Saccharin sodium, Eucalyptus oil (contains Cineol), purified water.

Each 15ml contains:

168.00 mg Marshmallow root extract

324.00 mg Cetraria islandica dry extract

25.80 mg Na-hyaluronate

60.0 mg Xanthan gum

The recommended dose is:

Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults:

15ml 3 times a day

For ease of dosing, a measuring cup is included.

If you take other medicines it's advised to take them 1/2 hour to 1 hour before or after intake of Broncho 5 in 1 multi-symptom action syrup. 

Do not take Broncho 5 in 1 multi-symptom action syrup

If you have hypersensitivity or are allergic to Icelandic moss or Marshmallow root or to any of the other ingredients of this medical device. 

Broncho 5 in 1 multi-symptom action syrup contains methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate as preservatives and eucalyptus oil. These may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). 

This medical device contains less than 1 mmol sodium(23 mg) per 15ml, that is to say essentially "sodium free".

Use in Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

The use of Broncho 5 in 1 multi-symptom action syrup is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Please consult with a doctor or physician if:

- your symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days

- fever or purulent sputum occurs while using Broncho 5 in 1 multi-symptom action syrup

Use of patients with diabetes:

15ml of Broncho 5 in 1 multi-symptom action syrup contains 0.10 CU (carbohydrate units)
