Dipyridamole belong to a group of medicine that prevent platelet aggregation. It can be referred to as a blood thinner. They can be used by patients at a high risk of stroke or other serious medical problems which may occur when a blood vessel is blocked by blood clots .
Dipyridamole works by preventing blood cells called platelets from clumping together inside the blood vessels. It also dilates the blood vessels. This reduces the risk of stroke and other medical issues.

Recommended starting dose is usually:
75 to 100mg four times a day taken together with an anticoagulant (blood-thinning) medicine
Your doctor may adjust your dose as needed.
You can take this medicine upto 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
It should be taken at the same time each day, with a glass of water.
