What are BENYLIN Mucus Cough & Cold All-in-One Relief Tablets?

BENYLIN Mucus Cough & Cold All-in-One Relief Tablets gives you all-in-one relief from your mucus symptoms, it gets to work on nasal mucus and also loosen chest mucus making it easier to cough up. It also relieves pain and fever.

These tablets contain Guaifenesin, Phenylephrine, and Paracetamol.

GUAIFENESIN - loosens and thins chest mucus, making it easier for you to cough up.

PHENYLEPHRINE - decongestant which will help reduce swelling in the passages of the nose and mucus production so that you can breathe more easily.

PARACETAMOL - relieves pain and helps reduce your temperature if you have a fever.

Warnings and Precautions

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Read the package leaflet before use.
• Do not use it if the expiration date printed on the carton has passed.

DO NOT USE IF:

• You are under 12 years old
• You are allergic to any of the ingredients contained in the tablets and should not use them. 
• You have a serious heart condition
• You have high blood pressure
• You have diabetes
• You have an overactive thyroid
• You have Glaucoma
• You have difficulty passing urine
• You are taking antidepressants Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), or take them in the last 14 days
• You are taking beta-blocking drugs
• You are taking any other decongestant drugs
• You are using cough suppressants

Speak to your GP or our Pharmacist before using if:

• You have an underlying medical problem or are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy. 
• You are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• You suffer from any allergies.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Each tablet contains the active ingredients paracetamol 250mg, guaifenesin 100mg, and phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg.

How do I use BENYLIN Mucus Cough & Cold All-in-One Relief Tablets?

Dosage:

Adults and children 12 years and over.

Take TWO tablets every 4 hours as required.

Do not take more than 8 tablets in any 24-hour period.

Do not take any other paracetamol containing products.

What are the side effects of BENYLIN Mucus Cough & Cold All-in-One Relief Tablets?

Some of the side effects that are known to be associated with the ingredients of Benylin mucus cough & cold all-in-one relief are:

• Abdominal discomfort.
• Diarrhea.
• Feeling sick or vomiting.
• Headache.
• Dizziness.
• Difficulty sleeping (insomnia).
• Restlessness.
• Increase in blood pressure.
• Increased heart rate.
• Palpitations.
• Difficulty passing urine.
• Allergic reactions such as a rash or itching
