Clarinaze 0.05% Allergy Control Nasal Spray?

Clarinaze Allergy Control Nasal Spray is used to relieve symptoms of hay fever and other allergies affecting the nose.

It helps manage symptoms including a runny nose, sneezing, and nasal congestion, as well as allergy symptoms caused by pet, mould, and dust allergies.

The spray contains mometasone furoate, a corticosteroid that works by blocking the release of certain natural substances involved in allergic reactions, helping to reduce inflammation in the nasal passages.

Clarinaze is intended for use by adults aged 18 years and over.

How to Use

For adults aged 18 years and over only.

Use only in the nose.

Shake gently before use.

Prime the spray by pumping 10 times before first use, or 2 times if unused for 14 days or more, until a fine mist is produced.

Use TWO sprays into each nostril once daily.

Do not use more than FOUR sprays a day. 

Once symptoms are under control, reduce the dose to ONE spray into each nostril once daily.

Do not use continuously for more than 3 months without consulting your doctor. 

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Mometasone furoate.
Other ingredients: Dispersible cellulose, glycerol, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.

Caution

For use in the nose only.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Read the package leaflet before use.

Do not use if

• you are under 18 years of age.
• you are allergic to any of the ingredients this product contains.
• if you have an untreated infection in your nose.
• if you have recently had nasal surgery or a nasal injury until your nose has healed.

Speak to your GP or pharmacist before use if

• you have been using this product continuously for more than 3 months without consulting your GP.
• you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• you have or have ever had tuberculosis.
• you have any other infections.
• you are taking other corticosteroids by mouth or injection.
• you have cystic fibrosis.

While using this product, speak to your GP or pharmacist if

• your immune system is not functioning well and you come into contact with someone with measles or chickenpox.
• you have an infection of the nose or throat.
• you experience persistent irritation of the nose or throat.
• you experience blurred vision or other visual disturbances.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include headache, sneezing, nosebleeds, sore nose or throat, ulcers in the nose, and respiratory tract infection.

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you experience wheezing or trouble breathing, swelling of the face, tongue, or pharynx, trouble swallowing, or hives.

If severe side effects occur, stop use and seek medical advice.
