What are Activa Class 1 Compression Flight Socks?
A light compression stocking or Class 1 (14-17mmHg) of ankle pressure. Trusted and used through the NHS.
Available in Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.
British Standard Compression Hoisery – Activas advanced fibres make these compression stockings luxurious and comfortable to wear. Class 1 (14-17mmHg) below knee closed toe in black. Suitable as flight socks with a light to medium compression level.

Activa hosiery can be machine washed up to 40 degrees and guaranteed for 100 washes.
Activa British Standard Hosiery Contraindication
Diabetes - unless after specialist referral and under strict supervision
Arterial insufficiency/arterial disease/ischaemia according to vascular assessment
Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) of less than 0.8 or greater than 1.3, unless after specialist referral and under strict supervision and regular follow up
Congestive cardiac failure as compression could lead to cardiac overload
Peripheral neuropathy
Rheumatoid arthritis unless under medical supervision
Known sensitivity to the fabric of the stockings
Distorted limb shape which would affect the fit of the device.
