Warnings and Precautions

Do not use if: 

• You are allergic to any of the ingredients these patches contain

Speak to your GP or pharmacist before use if:

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding

• You are in hospital due to heart disease, including heart attack disorders of heart rate or rhythm, angina, high blood pressure, stroke

• You have a stomach ulcer, duodenal ulcer, inflammation of the stomach, or inflammation of the esophagus

• You have liver or kidney diseases

• You have an overactive thyroid gland or have a phaeochromocytoma (a tumor of the adrenal gland that can affect blood pressure)

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Nicotine. The 21 mg patches contain 114 mg of nicotine and deliver 21 mg over 24 hours

Other ingredients: Ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene film, polyisobutylene and printing ink

How do use Niquitin Clear 21mg Patches?

Dosage:

Apply ONE patch to the skin ONCE a day in the morning.

What are the side effects of Niquitin Clear 21mg Patches?

Possible side effects:

• Increased heart rate – If you experience this, remove your patch and reduce the dose

• Abnormal dreams, trembling, palpitations

• Shortness of breath

• Feeling sick, vomiting, indigestion, stomach pains, diarrhoea, constipation

• Sweating

• Dry mouth

• Joint, muscle, chest, and limb pain

• Tiredness, feeling unwell

• Slight redness and itching, burning, and tingling of the skin where the patch has been. This will usually stop within a day

• Sensitivity to sunlight

• Seizures or fits. If you experience these, stop use right away
