Movelat is an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving gel. Applied directly to the skin, it helps relieve muscular pain, stiffness, sprains, and strains, and can also be used for pain associated with rheumatic and non-serious arthritic conditions. Unlike traditional oral pain relief tablets, it is applied directly to the affected area.
Movelat Gel contains the active ingredients mucopolysaccharide polysulfate and salicylic acid, while Voltarol contains diclofenac, a potent NSAID. Voltarol is more suitable for treating more severe, acute joint pain, whereas Movelat is better suited for muscle pain and stiffness. Both products are intended for topical application.
Ingredients in Movelat Gel:
Active Ingredients: mucopolysaccharide polysulfate 0.2% w/w, salicylic acid 2.0% w/w.
The other ingredients are: isopropyl alcohol, monoethanolamine, carbomer, disodium edetate, polyethene glyceryl-oleate, rosemary oil (containing citral, eugenol, geraniol, linalool, citronellol and limonene), purified water.
Movelat Gel contains Rosemary Oil. This fragrance contains citral, eugenol, geraniol, linalool, citronellol and limonene, which may cause allergic reactions.
External use only. Do not swallow.
If you accidentally swallow some of this gel, you should contact your doctor or a hospital casualty department. You may experience rapid breathing, ringing in the ears, deafness, lightheadedness, or sweating.
