A little more about Day Nurse Tablets - 18 Tablets
Day Nurse Tablets - 18 Tablets: Things you need to know

What are Day Nurse Tablets?

Haleon Day Nurse Tablets provide relief of nasal congestion and from the major cold and flu symptoms, including headaches, blocked or runny nose, aches & pains, fever, sinus pain, and sore throat. Take at the first sign of nasal congestion.

Does Day Nurse contain caffeine?

No, Day Nurse tablets do not contain caffeine. The active ingredients are paracetamol (a painkiller and fever reducer) and pseudoephedrine (a decongestant) to relieve cold and flu symptoms. There is no caffeine listed in this product’s formulation.

How long does Day Nurse take to kick in?

Day Nurse can start to relieve symptoms such as a blocked nose within around 15 minutes of taking a dose. Its paracetamol component also works quickly to ease aches and reduce fever.

Can I take Day Nurse at night?

Day Nurse is a non-drowsy daytime product designed for use during the day. The decongestant it contains can sometimes cause restlessness or difficulty sleeping, so it is generally better suited to daytime use. If you need relief at night, a nighttime cold medicine such as Night Nurse, with appropriate ingredients, may be more suitable. Always check the label or ask a pharmacist if you are unsure.

Can you take Ibuprofen with Day Nurse?

You can take ibuprofen with Day Nurse if you need additional pain or fever relief, so long as you do not exceed recommended doses and you are not taking other paracetamol at the same time. Day Nurse already contains paracetamol, so you must avoid taking other medicines that also contain paracetamol. If you have any underlying health conditions or take other medications, ask a pharmacist or doctor for advice.
