What is Aqueous cream?

Aqueous cream is a non-greasy emollient or moisturiser which works differently from normal moisturisers.

It helps to retain moisture on the skin surface by trapping the water, making it great for the treatment of skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. 

Warnings and Precautions when using Aqueous cream:

• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients
• If you experience any unwanted effects, stop using it and consult your doctor or pharmacist
• Advice from The National Eczema Society, do not use aqueous cream as a leave-on emollient as it’s likely to aggravate your eczema

How do I use Aqueous cream?

Directions:

Adults and children: 

Apply to the skin when you need to. For use on the skin only. If symptoms do not go away talk to your doctor.

For the relief of the symptoms of dry skin conditions, and for use instead of soap to wash the skin.

What are the side effects of Aqueous cream?

Like any medication, Aqueous cream may or may not cause side effects. Most people won't suffer from any side effects with Aqueous cream.

Possible side effects:

• Skin irritation, such as burning, stinging, itching, or redness of the skin, in people hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
• Inflammation or infection of the hair follicles (folliculitis). Applying the cream in the direction of hair growth reduces the risk of this.
