A little more about Fluconazole For Oral Thrush 50mg
Fluconazole For Oral Thrush 50mg: Things you need to know

What are Fluconazole 50mg Capsules?

Fluconazole 50mg capsules are an oral antifungal prescribed for oral (mouth) thrush infections caused by the Candida yeast.

They are generally given one capsule per day for 7 days to treat mild oral thrush infections (oral candidiasis).  Higher doses for more severe infections can be prescribed by a GP or specialist.

Key Benefits

  • One tablet once a day, quick and easy to take
  • Fast symptom relief in as little as 1- 3 days (complete the 7-day course)
  • Convenient online service and trusted supply
  • Effective antifungal targeting yeast infections responsible for oral thrush

Can I Buy Fluconazole Over the Counter UK?

No, Fluconazole 50mg is only available via prescription in the UK. You can complete a quick online consultation with us to see if treatment with floconazole is suitable for you. Fluconazole for vaginal thrush is available over the counter in a different dose.

How Fast Does Fluconazole Work for Oral Thrush?

Fluconazole usually begins working within 1-3 days for oral thrush, but a full 7-day course is often needed for complete clearance.

Symptoms should continue to clear after 3 days, and the full week's treatment should be completed. If symptoms have not improved after a week, you must speak to a doctor or pharmacist as you may need a longer course or a different antifungal can be prescribed.
