Regaine For Men Extra Strength Foam 5% Minoxidil

Regaine for Men Extra Strength Foam contains 5% w/w minoxidil and is developed for men experiencing hereditary hair loss, particularly thinning at the top of the scalp (vertex).

This topical foam penetrates the scalp to help stop hair thinning and reactivate inactive follicles. It strengthens and revitalises the hair follicle to support the growth of new, thicker hair.

Minoxidil is the only clinically proven over-the-counter medicinal treatment for male pattern hair loss. It promotes hair growth in four ways: reversing follicle miniaturisation, increasing blood flow around follicles, stimulating follicles from the resting phase into the growth phase, and extending the growth cycle.

During the first 2–6 weeks of use, temporary increased hair shedding may occur. This indicates that the new growth cycle is beginning. If shedding lasts longer than 2 weeks, stop use and speak to your doctor.

How to Use

Suitable for men aged 18 to 49 years.
Use twice daily, morning and night.
Ensure hair and scalp are completely dry before application.
Hold the can vertically upside down and press the nozzle to dispense half a capful of foam (approximately 1g) onto a cold surface or your hand.
Part the hair to expose thinning areas.
Massage the foam lightly and evenly into the affected areas of the scalp.
Wash hands thoroughly after application.
Continued daily use is necessary to maintain hair regrowth.

Active ingredient: Minoxidil 5% w/w.
Inactive ingredients: Ethanol Anhydrous, Purified Water, Butylhydroxytoluene (E321), Lactic Acid, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Glycerol, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Propane, Butane, Isobutane.

Caution

For men aged 18 to 49 years only.
Do not use if you are a woman.
Do not use if you are under 18 or over 49 years of age.
Do not use if you suffer from blood pressure problems.
Do not use if you have sudden or patchy hair loss.
Do not use if you have total baldness or complete loss of body hair.
Do not use if you have a red, inflamed, irritated, infected or painful scalp.
Do not use if you have a shaven head.
Do not use if you are using other medications or dressings on your scalp.
Exceeding the recommended dose will not regrow hair faster and may increase the risk of side effects.
If you stop treatment, regrown hair may be lost within 3–4 months.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include headache, itching, and local skin irritation or redness.
Uncommon side effects may include dizziness, palpitations, or excessive hair growth in unintended areas.
Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if you experience chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness, dizziness, sudden unexplained weight gain, swollen hands or feet, or persistent scalp irritation.
If severe side effects occur, stop use and seek medical advice.
