What is Elleste solo

 

Elleste Solo tablets are a type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that is used to treat menopause symptoms. Estradiol, a substance found in Elleste Solo, is the same as the female hormone oestrogen.

 

The strengths of Elleste Solo are 1 mg and 2 mg. You'll probably start HRT with a dose of 1 mg. Within a few weeks of using Elleste Solo regularly, menopausal symptoms will be relieved.

Elleste solo is a type or oral medicine which should be taken at a similar time each day. Ensure to swallow the tablet whole with water which can be done with or without food.

 

In the event you forget to take the tablet, take it as soon as you can. Yet if you have missed it by over 12 hours, miss the current dose and take the next scheduled tablet.

As with all medication there can be possible side effects. Though rare, possible side effects of Elleste solo include:

 

  • Nausea
  • Headache
  • Breast tenderness
  • Change in libido
  • Stomach cramps
  • Fluid retention
  • Breakthrough bleeding
