What are Deep Heat Patches?

Deep Heat Patches are self-warming adhesive pads which provide you with up to 8 hours of warming relief from, Muscular and joint aches and pains, backache, strains and sprains.

These patches do require a microwave or any other heater as they heat up all by themselves and radiate heat through your muscles as they do. This helps to increase blood flow to the affected area, providing oxygen and nutrients that help to speed up the healing process. The heat also helps to ease stiffness and restore movement in your muscles and joints.

Warnings and Precautions

• Not suitable for use on children or those who would not be able to remove the patch on their own.

DO NOT USE:

• If you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.

• On bruised, swollen, damaged, sensitive, or irritated skin

• At the same time as other skin medications or heat sources in the same area

Speak to your GP or Pharmacist before use if:

• You are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding

How do I use Deep Heat Patches?

Dosage:

Use on clean dry skin.

Open the plastic packet, remove the protective film and apply to desired area.

The patch will heat up after 5 minutes and remain warm for 8 hours.

Do not cut, massage, fold or wet the patch. To remove, slowly peel of the patch.

What are the side effects of Deep Heat Patches?

Possible side effects:

• Temporary skin redness

• Burning sensation

• Rashes

• Skin burns or blisters
