Azelastine Hydrochloride 0.5mg/ml Eye Drops

Azelastine eye drops relieve the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. Allergic conjunctivitis causes red, itchy eyes and watery eyes. It is caused by exposure to irritants such as plants, pollen, cosmetics, house or dust mites and pet fur. These eye drops can also help if you suffer with seasonal conjunctivitis, a common cause being allergic to pollen in the hay fever season. 

Azelastine is an antihistamine that helps relieve itching by blocking the release of a chemical called histamine, which is produced by the body as part of an allergic reaction.

For the treatment of eye disorders caused by hayfever (seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. Do not give this medicine to children below 4 years of age, because the safety has not been established.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. 

Common effects:

• Burning 

• Irritation 

• Watering 

• Slight Irritation
