Instructions for use 

1. Measure the wound site to ensure the correct size of the dressing
2. Open the package and remove the dressing
3. Remove one section of the backing paper to expose the adhesive surface
4. Apply the dressing, ensuring the wound is centred on the pad
5. Remove the rest of the backing paper and smooth the border firmly to obtain adhesion
6. Do not stretch the dressing during the application

Frequency of change

Softpore should be changed according to the clinical condition of the wound or when saturated. The dressing may be left in situ for up to 5 days. 

Removal

• Hold the edge of the dressing and slowly peel in the direction of hair growth.
• Dispose of as clinical waste according to local protocols. 

Precautions

To prevent skin shearing, do not apply under tension

The dressing should not be applied to patients with fragile or easily damaged skin

Single-use only. Do not reuse or resterilise 

Adhesive can cause a skin reaction. If required, seek medical advice.
