Is Simply Meds Online regulated and legal?

SimplyMeds Online is a fully regulated, licensed UK pharmacy just like your normal high street pharmacy. We are licensed to dispense prescription medication across the UK and across some EU countries.

We are regulated and supervised by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and their respective logos are displayed on our site. These logos are official and are a regulatory requirement. Please feel free to click on these logos for further information about us and our registration with both the GPHC and MHRA.

Do I need a prescription?

No. To order from SimplyMeds Online all you need to do is complete our free consultation process. This is then reviewed by our independent prescriber who will assess your suitability for the treatment selected and if suitable issue a private prescription that’s sent directly to our pharmacy for dispensing.

Can I use an existing prescription?

Unfortunately we do not currently accept any existing NHS prescriptions.

We do accept private prescriptions however we will not dispense these without having had a quote sent to you first. Once agreed we will need the prescription sent to us before we can deliver any medication out to you. If this seems a bit long-winded and if your medication is one we stock anyway, you can go through our free consultation service and we can issue a private prescription, dispense and deliver it to you just like our normal process.

Can I make a repeat order?

Yes. Existing customers can make repeat orders by clicking into their account and going to the Order History section. It’s quick and easy.

How do I know if your medicine is genuine?

All our licensed medication is supplied by 4 major UK pharmaceutical wholesalers including AAH and Alliance Healthcare so you can be sure all your medication is of the same high quality as your normal high street pharmacy. We only stock genuine medicines from UK suppliers.

We are registered with and regulated by the GPhC. They are the pharmacy professional governing body. The GPhC is responsible for establishing and promoting standards for the safe and effective practice of pharmacy. This includes ensuring that only genuine medication is dispensed to patients.

We are also on the MHRA list of UK registered online sellers and act in accordance with EU legislation regarding the Falsified Medicines Directive. This is a legal requirement for all online pharmacies. Only legitimate pharmacy websites can be registered with the MHRA.

Is your service confidential?

Your Medical data and order history is completely confidential and will only be viewable by our pharmacy staff and our independent prescribers and doctors. No-one else will have access to your data.
