HydraMed Night 5g

HydraMed Night is a preservative-free ophthalmic ointment containing vitamin A and herbal extracts of chamomile and calendula. It is presented in a 5g tube.

The ointment is used to provide long-lasting relief from the effects of dry eyes caused by mild eye irritation, burning, and redness due to environmental factors such as wind, sun, dry air, smoke, bright light, and prolonged visual effort including reading, computer use, and night driving.

HydraMed Night may also be used in cases of dry eye associated with contact lens use. The formulation supports the restoration of the physiological state of the tear film and helps protect the ocular surface through the lubricating and moisturising properties of vitamin A.

The presence of chamomile and calendula liposoluble extracts helps provide a pleasant sensation of freshness and comfort during use.

How to Use

Wash your hands and remove the cap from the tube.
Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pocket.
Squeeze the tube slowly until a 10 mm strip of ointment is instilled onto the lower eyelid.
Blink two to three times to spread the ointment evenly over the eye.
Wipe away any excess ointment from around the eyelids with a clean paper tissue and replace the cap.
Due to its consistency, apply once daily in the evening before going to sleep.

Ingredients

Vitamin A Palmitate (25,000 IU/100g), Chamomile (Matricaria recutita, liposoluble extract), Calendula (Calendula officinalis, liposoluble extract), Lanoline, Vaseline Oil, White Vaseline.

Caution

For external ophthalmic use only.
Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the components.
After administration, slight temporary blurring of vision may occur due to the oily consistency of the ointment. Avoid activities requiring clear vision such as driving or using machinery after use.
Do not wear contact lenses during instillation of the product. After administration, wait at least 30 minutes before reinserting contact lenses.
If using with other ophthalmic products, allow an interval of at least 30 minutes between applications and use HydraMed Night last.
Discard the tube 90 days after first opening.
Avoid touching the tip of the tube on the eye or eyelashes.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the container.
Continued use of the ointment is for a 30-day treatment. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
In case of pregnancy, breast-feeding, or paediatric use, consult your doctor before use.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use if the container is damaged.
Store between 15°C and 25°C.
Do not swallow.

Side Effects

After administration, mild and temporary blurring of vision may occur due to the oily consistency of the ointment.
If severe side effects occur, stop use and seek medical advice.
