Timoptol Eye Drops contain the active ingredient Timolol. Timolol is a beta-blocker which can be used alone or with other medication to treat increased pressure in the eye that is caused by open-angle glaucoma or a condition called ocular (eye) hypertension.
Timolol is a beta-blocker. Beta-blockers work by blocking beta receptors in the eye which reduces the amount of aqueous humour that is produced.
Timoptol is a prescription only medicine and an Emergency Supply can only be issued if you are currently being prescribed this medication by your GP. You will need to fill out a questionnaire, which is then reviewed to make sure Timoptol is a suitable treatment for you. You will also need to upload proof that you have had this item before. If your order is approved, your Timoptol can be sent directly to you.

Keep out of sight and Reach of children.

Recommended starting dose is usually:
Use one drop into the eye (or eyes) affected.
(Some timolol eye drops should be put in twice a day; others should be used once a day only. Your doctor will tell you which is right for you)
Dizziness
Tiredness
Changes in your eyesight (blurred vision)
Drooping of the upper eyelid
Double vision which may affect your ability to drive and/or operate machinery
