What are Humulin M3 Cartridges?

 This is a treatment for diabetes mellitus used with proper diet and exercise to treat high blood sugar levels. Humulin M3 Cartridges pen containing the active substance human insulin, which is used to treat diabetes. Diabetes occurs when the pancreas fails to make enough insulin to control the level of glucose in your blood sugar. It contains human insulin, a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels by increasing the amount of sugar that's absorbed into tissues like the muscles, liver, and fat. The HumaPen Savvio is the Lilly reusable pen available for use with Humulin M3 cartridges. Patients should not use other reusable pens, as Lilly has not established dosing accuracy with other pens.

How does Isophane Insulin  and Soluble Insulin work as a treatment for Diabetes Mellitus?

Isphane Insulin is an intermediate-acting insulin and works by helping blood sugar get into cells so your body can use it for energy.
Soluble insulin is as a short-acting insulin.

The pre-mixed combination provides a rapid initial blood glucose lowering effect, followed by a prolonged effect that controls blood glucose throughout the day. 

What is Diabetes?

Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar (glucose). 

The cause of diabetes varies by type. However, no matter what type of diabetes you have, it can lead to excess sugar in your blood and to much sugar in your blood can lead to serious health problems.

Chronic diabetes: type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes.

Potentially reversible diabetes: Prediabetes and gestational diabetes.

Gestational diabetes: occurs during pregnancy but may resolve after the baby is delivered.
 

Emergency supplys of Humulin M3:

Humulin M3 is a prescription only medicine and an Emergency Supply can only be issued if you are currently being prescribed this medication by your GP for Diabetes.  You will need to fill out a questionnaire, which is then reviewed to make sure Humulin M3 is a suitable treatment for you. You will also need to upload proof that you have used this item before. If your order is approved, your Humulin M3 can be sent directly to you.

Warnings and Precautions

Always take this medication exactly as directed by your GP.

Keep out of sight and Reach of children.

If you are taking any new medications even over the counter medicines whilst taking Humulin M3 you should make your GP aware to prevent interactions.

How do I use Humulin M3 Cartridges?
 

Humulin M3 must be used exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are unsure contact your GP.

The dose is based on your blood sugar and must be determined by your doctor.

What are the side effects of Humulin M3 Cartridges?

• Decreased blood pressure

• Rash all over the body

• Difficulty breathing

• Wheezing (wheezing when breathing)

• Fast heartbeat

• Sweating
