A high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath, feeling tired, aching body, headache, sore throat, blocked or runny nose, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, or feeling or being sick.

How do I use a FlowFlex COVID-19 Rapid Test Kit? 

1. Wash or sanitise your hands before starting.
2. Open the test kit and check that all parts are included.
3. Prepare the extraction tube by removing the foil seal.
4. Collect the sample:
   • Insert the swab into one nostril (about 2–3 cm).
   • Rotate it 5 times against the inside of the nose.
   • Repeat in the other nostril with the same swab.
5. Insert the swab into the tube, stir and squeeze it for about 30 seconds.
6. Remove the swab while squeezing the tube to extract liquid.
7. Attach the dropper tip to the tube.
8. Add 4 drops of the liquid into the sample well on the test cassette.
9. Wait 15 minutes for the result.
10. Read the result:
    • One line (C) = Negative
    • Two lines (C and T) = Positive
    • No C line = Invalid (repeat test)

What does a positive COVID-19 test look like?

A positive COVID-19 test shows two lines—one at “C” and another at “T”—and even a faint second line means the result is positive.

What does a negative covid test look like?

A negative COVID-19 test shows only one line at “C” and no line at “T,” meaning the virus was not detected.
