What is Movelat Relief Gel?

Movelat's unique formula delivers a clinically proven anti-inflammatory exactly where it is needed, providing powerful pain relief directly to aching joints and muscles. Unlike traditional oral pain-relief tablets, Movelat is applied to the skin at the site of pain, so less of the medicine circulates in the body.

What does Movelat Relief Gel contain?

Movelat Gel contains the active substances mucopolysaccharide polysulfate (MPS) and salicylic acid.

- salicylic acid 2.0% w/w.

Movelat gel v Voltarol - What's the difference?

Movelat Relief gel has the active ingredients mucopolysaccharide polysulfate and salicylic acid, whilst Voltarol contains diclofenac, a powerful NSAID. Voltarol is better suited to treat more severe acute pain for joint-specific areas, whereas Movelat is better for muscle pain and stiffness. Both should be applied topically.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients
Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate (MPS) 0.2% w/w
Salicylic acid 2.0% w/w

Other Ingredients

Isopropyl alcohol, monoethanolamine, carbomer, disodium edetate, polyethylene glycol oleate, rosemary oil (containing citral, eugenol, geraniol, linalool, citronellol and limonene), purified water.

How to Use

• For external use only
• Use only on your skin
• Pierce the tube seal using the spike in the cap before first use
• Gently massage 2–6 inches (5–15 cm) of gel into the affected area
• Apply up to 4 times daily, unless otherwise directed
• Do not exceed the stated dose
• If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years

Do not use on:
Children under 12 years

Precautions

• Do not apply to large areas of skin (e.g. back)
• Do not use on broken, cut or grazed skin
• Avoid sensitive areas such as the mouth, eyes or genital region
• Do not use if you are sensitive to aspirin-like medicines or any of the ingredients
• Stop use if irritation develops and seek medical advice

Speak to your doctor before use if:

You are pregnant or breastfeeding
You have asthma
You are taking any other medicines

Store below 25°C
Keep out of the sight and reach of children
