What is Eurax HC Cream?

Eurax HC cream will give you relief from inflammation and pruritus associated with irritant and allergic contact dermatitis, insect bites, and mild to moderate eczema.

Eurax HC cream contains two active ingredients which work together to reduce inflammation and itching.

Hydrocortisone 0.25%: Is a corticosteroid, a type of medication that helps to reduce the chemicals released in your skin when it’s inflamed, reducing inflammation that way.

Crotamiton 10%: helps to relieve itching quickly and reduces the urge to scratch.

Warnings and Precautions

• Not to be used during Pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding

• Not suitable for children under 10 years

• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients this product contains

• For external use only

• Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, genitals, anus, or any other sensitive areas

• Do not apply to weeping or damaged skin, especially open wounds

Active ingredients: Crotamiton 10.0% w/w, Hydrocortisone 0.25% w/w

Other ingredients: Stearyl alcohol, White soft paraffin, Polyoxyl 40 stearate, Propyl hydroxybenzoate, Propylene glycol, Methyl hydroxybenzoate, Perfume Givaudan No. 45, Sulphuric acid, Purified water

How do I apply Eurax HC Cream?

Dosage:

Adults and children over 10 years: Apply sparingly, over a small area, twice a day for up to 1 week.

Occlusive dressings should not be used.

Not recommended for use under 10 years except on medical advice.

What are the side effects of Eurax HC Cream?

Possible side effects:

• itching or burning sensation might occur occasionally.
