What is Canesten HC Cream?

Canesten Hydrocortisone triple action formula treats sweat rash and athlete's foot. Anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal.

The triple-action formula is:

• Anti-fungal – treats the fungi that causes your athlete’s foot

• Anti-bacterial – helps get rid of the bacteria that can cause your feet to smell

• Anti-inflammatory - provides rapid relief from itching and inflammation

This cream is to be used when inflammation and itching occurs.

Warnings and Precautions 

• Do not use for more than 7 days.

Speak to your GP or pharmacist if: 

• You have an underlying medical condition

• You are taking any other medication or complementary therapys

• Symptoms persist

• You are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Read the package leaflet before use.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place which is below 25 degrees C. Store in original packaging and do not use if expiration date printed on the carton has passed.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Clotrimazole 1% and Hydrocortisone 1%.
 

Other ingredients: Benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, triceteareth-4-phosphate, medium chain triglycerides and purified water.

How do I use Canesten HC Cream pack size 15g?

Dosage:

Adults, elderly and children aged 10 years and over:

Apply thinly and evenly to the affected area TWICE daily and rub in gently.

If pregnant consult a doctor before using.

Do not use if breastfeeding.

Maximum treatment period 7 days.

Children under 10 years: not recommended.

What are the side effects of Canesten HC Cream pack size 15g?

Possible side effects:

• Itching

• Rash

• Blisters

• Burning

• Discomfort

• Swelling

• Irritation

• Redness or peeling of the skin

• Blurred vision

Speak to your GP or pharmacist if you have any concerns about side effects. If you have severe side effects stop use immediately and contact your GP or pharmacist as soon as possible.
