Incruse Ellipta Inhaler

Incruse Elipta is a medicine used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). COPD is a long term condition in which the air sacs and airways in the lungs gradually become damaged or blocked, causing difficulties when breathing normally. The muscles around the airways tighten, which restrict flow of air as the airways become more narrow. 

Incruse Ellipta should not be used to treat sudden breathing problems or flare ups. Instead, Incruse Ellipta is meant to be used consistently over time to control COPD symptoms. If you're having sudden breathing problems, you should use a rescue inhaler to treat your symptoms.

Use as directed by your GP.

Like all medicines, this medicine may cause some side effects but not everybody gets them.

Some common side effects may include:

Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people): • faster heart beat • painful and frequent urination (may be signs of a urinary tract infection) • common cold • infection of nose and throat • cough • feeling of pressure or pain in the cheeks and forehead (may be signs of inflammation of the sinuses called sinusitis) • headache • constipation • mouth and throat pain.
