A little more about Viagra Connect Melts Pack of 4
Viagra Connect Melts Pack of 4: Things you need to know

What are Viagra Connect Melts?

Viagra Connect Melts 50mg is an orodispersible erectile dysfunction treatment for men aged 18 and over, helping you achieve and maintain an erection. Each thin orodispersible film contains 50mg of sildenafil and dissolves directly on the tongue, making it a discreet alternative to traditional tablets that can be taken with or without water. Viagra Connect Melts usually start to work within 30–60 minutes and may be taken up to four hours before sexual activity.

Viagra Connect Melts are a treatment for men aged 18 years and older with erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction, also known as impotence, is an inability to achieve or maintain an erection.

How Do Viagra Connect Melts Work?

Viagra Connect Melts contain the active substance sildenafil, which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. They work by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually aroused, causing an erection. Viagra Connect Melts will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually excited (stimulated).

Is Viagra Connect Safe?

Viagra Connect melts are licensed for over-the-counter sale in the UK as a pharmacy medication. The active ingredient in Viagra Connect melts, sildenafil, has been on the market for over 20 years since 1996 in Viagra. It has a proven safety record.

Viagra Connect vs Sildenafil?

Sildenafil is the active ingredient in both Viagra, Viagra Connect and Viagra Connect Melts, but is also available as a non-branded generic product. The unbranded version of the medicine is clinically equivalent to the branded medicines.

All generic medicines undergo the same stringent tests as branded medicines to prove they are medically equivalent to the branded versions. Without this, they do not get approved to go to market. They have the same active ingredient, strength, quality and safety as their branded versions.

Ingredients:

The active ingredient is 50 mg of sildenafil. The other ingredients are hydroxypropylcellulose (E463), macrogol, crospovidone (E1202), povidone (E1201), sucralose (E955), macrogol poly(vinyl alcohol) grafted copolymer, levomenthol, hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), ferric oxide red (E172).

What are Orodispersible films?

Orodispersible films are thin, dissolvable strips of medicine that are placed on the tongue. They break down and release the active ingredient, in this case sildenafil. Unlike traditional tablets, they do not need to be swallowed with water, making them a convenient option for taking medication. Viagra Connect Melts contains orodispersible sildenafil in an easy-to-use film format, designed to dissolve in the mouth before the medicine is absorbed.

For those looking for an alternative, Viagra Connect Tablets offer the same sildenafil treatment in a convenient tablet format to help with erectile dysfunction.

How do I use Viagra Connect Melts?

Always read the information provided on the box and/or leaflet.

  1. Take 1 orodispersible film approximately one hour before sexual activity
  2. Peel open the pouch with dry hands. Do not cut open
  3. Place on tongue with a dry finger
  4. Allow to disintegrate in mouth with or without water
  5. Allow to disintegrate in mouth with or without water
