What are Covonia Dry and Tickly Cough Linctus 150ml?

Covonia Dry and Tickly Cough Linctus soothes and coats the throat to help relieve a tickly cough.

It is suitable for vegetarians and coeliacs and free from nuts and artificial colours.

Covonia Dry and Tickly Cough Linctus works by coating and soothing the back of the throat. This eases a sore throat and helps to stop the annoying tickly sensations that can make you want to cough even though there's no phlegm to cough up. A dry, tickly cough will usually last a week or two but can last longer. A cough that lasts longer is known as a persistent cough.

• You are allergic to any of the ingredients this medicine contains

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Glycerol

Other ingredients: Ethanol, Sucrose, Glucose, Propylene Glycol. Sucrose 1.7G, Glucose 0.3G Per 5ml

The Other Ingredients: Honey, Capsicum Tincture (Capsicum Oleoresin, Ethanol), Menthol, Peppermint Oil, Anise Oil, Citric Acid (E330), Caramel (E150), Liquid Glucose, Blackcurrant Flavour (Containing Ethanol, Propylene Glycol), Liquorice Liquid Extract And Purified Water.

How do I take Covonia Dry and Tickly Cough Linctus 150ml?

Dosage:

Adults, elderly, and children over 12 years old: Take TWO 5ml spoonfuls when required. No more than 4 times a day.

Children over 1 year: Take ONE 5ml  spoonful when required. No more than 4 times a day.

• DO NOT give to children under 1 year old (unless your doctor tells you to)

• DO NOT exceed the stated dose

This medicine isn't known to cause side effects, however, if you think you have had an allergic reaction to the medicine stop use and call your GP or our pharmacist.
