Daktarin Gold 2% Cream (Ketoconazole Cream)

Daktarin Gold is a topical cream which uses Ketoconazole to treat various skin infections.  It rapidly relieves itching caused by fungal infections. Fungal Infections can occur when yeast or fungus, which lives on your body, is given the environment to grow. The active ingredient, ketoconazole, works by destroying the fungi and yeasts that cause the infection. This will quickly stop any itching. This can help treat Athlete's Foot, Dhobie Itch, Jock Itch and other similar sweat rashes. Available in a 15g tube.

What is the difference between Daktarin and Daktarin Gold?

Daktarin and Daktarin Gold are both antifungal creams, but have different active ingredients. Daktarin Gold is a Ketocanzole cream, whereas Daktarin uses Miconazole. 

Ingredients in Daktarin Gold:

Ketoconazole 2% w/w. Also contains propylene glycol, cetyl and stearyl alcohol, sorbitan stearate, polysorbates 60 & 80, sodium sulphite (E221), isopropyl myristate, purified water.

How to Use Daktarin Gold

Directions:
Wash the infected skin and dry well before use

To Treat Athlete's Foot:
For Athlete's Foot: Rub the cream gently between the toes and the surrounding area once or twice a day (morning and night) for 4 to 6 weeks. The treatment may be required for up to 6 weeks.
 

To Treat Dhobie Itch and Sweat Rash:
Rub the cream into the affected and surrounding area once or twice daily. The treatment may be required for up to 4 weeks. Continue to apply the cream to the affected areas for a few days after signs of infection have cleared to prevent them from coming back.
 

Treatment for Jock Itch
Rub the cream into the affected and surrounding area once or twice daily. The treatment may be required for up to 4 weeks. Continue to apply the cream to the affected areas for a few days after signs of infection have cleared to prevent them from coming back.
 

If symptoms have not improved, talk to your doctor. For external use only

Possible Side Effects:

If you have any severe side effects, stop use immediately and seek medical assistance as soon as possible.

• Severe Allergic reaction, including peeling or blistering of the skin
• Itchiness, Redness 
• Skin burning sensation
