Formerly known as "Non-Drowsy Sudafed Dual Relief Max," Sudafed Sinus Pressure & Pain Tablets are an effective treatment to help alleviate symptoms of sinus pain.
Ibuprofen: This is an anti-inflammatory painkiller that combats fever and soothes pain.
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride: This is a decongestant that works to reduce the sore, swollen blood vessels in your nose so you can breathe better.
Not suitable for anyone under 15 years of age
You are in the third trimester of pregnancy (6 months or more pregnant) or breastfeeding
You are allergic to any of the ingredients these tablets contain
You have had shortness of breath, asthma, skin rash, itchy runny nose or facial swelling when previously taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs
You have an active history of recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least two different episodes of confirmed ulcers or bleeding)
You have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID treatment
You have liver or kidney failure
You have heart failure
You have heart or circulation problems , an overactive thyroid gland, diabetes, pheochromocytoma
You have a history of heart attack
You have suffered from a stroke or have previously been told you are at risk of having a stroke
You have a history of seizures
You have unexplained disorders in the formation of blood components
You have increased pressure in the eye
You have difficulty in urinating related to prostate problems
You have been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), an illness affecting the immune system causing joint pain, skin changes and other problems
You are taking other nasal decongestants administered orally or nasally
You are taking methylphenidate, a medicine for ADHD
You are taking medicines for depression like non-selective monoamine oxidase inhibitors or have
You have asthma
You have a history of gastrointestinal disorders or Have or had ever had gastrointestinal disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease)
You have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, have a family history of heart disease or stroke, or if you are a smoker
You have liver or kidney problems
You have diabetes because of potential diabetic nephropathy
You have an overactive thyroid gland or psychosis
Have a blood clotting disorder
Have an infection
Have had heart problems
Active ingredients: Ibuprofen, Pseudoephedrine
Other ingredients: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, croscarmellose sodium, maize starch, silica colloidal anhydrous, magnesium stearate. Tablet coat: hypromellose, macrogol 400, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E 172)
Adults and adolescents 15 years and older - ONE Tablet every 6 hours if necessary.
For more severe symptoms, TWO tablets every 6 hours.
Maximum 6 tablets within 24 hours.
DO NOT give to children under 15 years.
