What is Doublebase Flare Relief Emollient?

Doublebase Flare Relief Emollient is an effective steroid free, easily absorbed emollient that's suitable for adults, children, and infants over 1 year.

This highly moisturising, anti-inflammatory emollient helps repair the skin barrier and treat dry skin conditions prone to flare-ups, including mild to moderate dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis.

Some dry skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis are further complicated by redness and inflammation. The end result is aggravated sensitive and tender skin. Flare Relief Emollient contains nicotinamide, a vitamin B derivative that has anti-inflammatory properties to help reduce redness and inflammation of aggravated, sensitive, and tender skin.

What is eczema?

Eczema is a dry skin condition that is especially common in children. It is associated with dry skin, but can also make your skin feel sore, itchy, and inflamed and can cause redness and cracks in the skin. Eczema can flare up all over the body, in small patches in some sufferers and being much more widely spread in others.

• Ankles
• In skin folds, such as the insides of your elbows or the backs of your knees

This gel helps to keep moisture locked into your skin, hydrating dry skin and easing symptoms such as itching or redness.

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• You should stay away from open flames and should not smoke while using this product as it contains paraffin which is a flammable substance and fabric that comes into contact with then can become more flammable.
• For external use only, avoid contact with eyes or other sensitive areas
• Make sure that any clothes, dressings, bedding, or other fabrics which come into contact with this product are changed regularly.

How do I use Doublebase Flare Relief Emollient?

Directions:

The same usage instructions apply to all age groups.

Gently smooth over and around all dry and/or inflamed areas three times daily or as often as required.

• Before use, turn the top of the pump dispenser in the direction of the open arrow to unlock it.
• Read and retain the accompanying leaflet.
