High Fluoride Toothpastes are used to help prevent tooth decay (dental caries) and enamel erosion in patients aged 16 years and older. Morningside 5000 Toothpaste contains 5000ppm of Sodium fluoride, around four times as much than in normal toothpaste. It is a generic version of Colgate Duraphat toothpaste.
Fluoride stops the formation of dental plaque and reduces acid related erosion of tooth enamel. It can also help to repair enamel in the early stages of erosion, preventing the need for a visit to the dentist for something more serious such as a cavity.
Use in children and adolescents
This toothpaste is not for use by adolescents and children aged less than 16 years.
